April 16, 2011 when the bloggers decided to hike together with friends, Jane Ian (middle) and Neddy (Right), were about to hike Mt. Romelo at Siniloan Laguna. That time, I doubt if I could climb that mountain with a maximum elevation of 300 MASL thinking that this is my first climb in Luzon, the very first was in Mindanao. The moment we started hiking, my friends Jane Ian suggested that we need to have a group name, and she suggested the name "BAGTIT" or "KABAGTIT"! According to her this is the literal ilocano word which means "crazy" or in tagalog "loka loka",hmmmm indeed Jane, that was a good group name, excellent choice!!

Thus far, during the trails i have noticed that Mt. Romelo was an amazing beauty that will give you an addiction to come over again and again. In the peak of this mountain, uphills is very interesting because of its waterfalls. Some bloggers said that it is a "mountain of waterfalls", the unique pristine beauty of the mountains attracted her visitors most, especially us!
This is the first time I have conquerred Mt. Romelo with my Kabagtit team, and also the first time the group name was created.
As a free lancer hiker it is good to know that you have a name of your choice, Thanks to my fellow mountaineers Jane and Neddy. Thanks for the wonderful journey.
